Online colleges: what is the worst decision you can make?

Without wanting to be silly or clever, the worst decision is not to complete college courses. All the statistical evidence from the census shows that, without a proper form of qualification, you will not get a good job. In the latest survey, people who get a college degree online are shown earning 80% more than people who quit high school. In other words, if you invest money in education, you show a very high rate of return. Looking at other economies around the world, it's also clear that the more people improve their education, the better the economy performs. Yet many of the online colleges and university colleges have quite high fees. Except you have to see this in context. If you have to commute and buy food outside the home to attend a local college, your costs are rising. If you have to find a rental home during term time at a more distant college, your costs just rose significantly. In real terms, online colleges are not more expensive than real world colleges when you add up all the other costs. You also have to budget for books and access to study materials. There are, however, more serious difficulties. Following the recession, the economy has not been recovering as quickly as we would like. Unemployment remains high and many graduates are struggling to find well-paying jobs. In part, this represents a shock because graduates were used to being recruited and not having to search for work. If you accept entry-level opportunities and prove your worth, you are promoted into the better paid jobs. Fortunately, online accredited colleges are accepted as equal to real world university colleges and you stand the same chance of finding work so long as you cast the net wide. Remember, America is not an entitlement culture. Everyone has to earn a job and college students are no exception. The buck stops with you to enroll at one of the online colleges and work through one of its online college degrees. With the qualification in your hand, you have to make your own future. Never give up and drop out. Employers are always looking out for self-motivated people to build their businesses. Online colleges give you the chance. Seize it and make the future your own.
